Solitude Pipeline System Reaches Final Investment Decision To Transport Gas From the Permian Basin to the Gulf Coast

AUSTIN, Texas, Aug. 17, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- WhiteWater today announced that it, together with Devon Energy Corporation (NYSE: DVN), MPLX LP (NYSE: MPLX), Diamondback Energy, Inc. (NASDAQ: FANG) and Western Midstream Partners, LP (NYSE: WES), through their Solitude Pipeline System joint venture ("Solitude"), have reached a positive Final Investment Decision ("FID") to construct two 48-inch natural gas pipelines, each running from the Permian Basin to Katy, TX. The project has secured substantial long-term firm transportation agreements with predominantly investment-grade shippers to support the FID.

Pelican Pipeline Expands System in Louisiana

AUSTIN, Texas, May 28, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- WhiteWater today announced the expansion of its Pelican Pipeline footprint in Louisiana with the Pelican Thrasher Lateral, a greenfield pipeline project that will deliver gas to Commonwealth LNG's liquefaction and export facility in Cameron Parish, Louisiana. The Pelican Thrasher Lateral is expected to be in service in the first half of 2029 and will consist of approximately 65 miles of 42-inch pipe originating in the Gillis area in Beauregard Parish, Louisiana. The Pelican Thrasher Lateral will be capable of transporting up to 2.5 Bcf/d.

Pelican Pipeline Announces Capacity Expansion

AUSTIN, Texas, July 30, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- WhiteWater today announced the upsize of the Pelican Pipeline to a 42-inch from a 36-inch diameter pipeline. The new scope will increase the pipeline's capacity to approximately 2.5 billion cubic feet per day (Bcf/d) from 1.75 Bcf/d. The expansion is scheduled to be in service in first half of 2027, pending the receipt of customary regulatory and other approvals.

Matterhorn is a strategically positioned natural gas pipeline with a capacity of 2.5 billion cubic feet per day (Bcf/d), linking the Permian Basin to essential demand centers across Texas and the Gulf Coast—from power generation and industrial markets to LNG export terminals. Matterhorn was placed into service in November 2024 and is fully contracted.

Pelican Pipeline Reaches Final Investment Decision

AUSTIN, Texas, Oct. 31, 2024 /PRNewswire/ -- WhiteWater has reached a final investment decision to move forward with the construction of the Pelican Pipeline after having secured sufficient firm transportation agreements with shippers. The Pelican Pipeline has been designed to transport up to 1.75 billion cubic feet per day (Bcf/d) of natural gas through approximately 170 miles of 36-inch pipeline from Williams, Louisiana, to the Gillis Hub near Ragley, Louisiana. Supply for the Pelican Pipeline will be sourced from multiple upstream connections in the Haynesville Basin, including direct connections to processing facilities. The Pelican Pipeline is expected to be in service in the first half of 2027, pending the receipt of customary regulatory and other approvals.
